These pages are written to be read. If anything is unclear, email hello@kestrel.app and a person will answer.
We collect the information you give us to run your account: your name, email address, billing details, and the client records you choose to keep in Kestrel. We use it to provide the service, support you, and send the occasional product update you can unsubscribe from.
We do not sell your data, train advertising models on it, or share it with anyone except the processors that help us run Kestrel: payment, hosting, and email delivery. You can export or delete your workspace at any time.
Kestrel is sold as a subscription per user. Your 14-day trial does not require a credit card. After the trial, plans renew monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Use Kestrel for lawful work, keep your login secure, and do not attempt to disrupt the service or access another customer's data. We may suspend accounts that put other customers at risk.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people on your team, with per-record permissions on every plan. Offline copies are encrypted on your device. We keep encrypted backups and test restoration regularly.
Found a vulnerability? Email security@kestrel.app. We will acknowledge it within one business day.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across the Kestrel website and apps. That includes keyboard navigation, visible focus states, readable contrast, and respect for reduced-motion settings. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
